Glass of alcohol and pills

Welcome!

This page was originally designed as a 'closed group' for those funded by WA Primary Health Alliance for alcohol and other drug workforce development activities in 2018. The activities have been completed and a Showcase event was held on 3 October 2019 to celebrate the achievements and share resources developed. We have made the page 'public' so that others working with people using alcohol or other drugs can access the resources or links from this page and organisations working in this space.

The Resources section on the right contains two folders Documents (including a summary of the activities which contains hyperlinks) and Presentations from the Showcase. Click more.. to see complete list of resources. The Story posted on 16 October also contains a link to a video developed for general practitioners.

NB: Please bare in mind the presentations were delivered in Pecha Kucha style, which meant the amount of information contained on each slide needed to be covered in 20 seconds. Some slides only have a photo that captures the essence of what was being discussed and therefore may not have much meaning without the context.

There are also couple of presentations in the Documents folder from the St John of God Driving Change: pregnancy, parenting, alcohol and other drugs conference held in 2018, which may also be of interest.
