Across the WA Primary Health Alliance Commissioned Services portfolio, we have taken on board significant feedback and insights gained across our first five years to ensure we continue to evolve and improve. One of the commitments we have made for the year ahead is to set clear performance expectations for our commissioned service providers.
The Commissioned Services Management Framework will be developed with external consultancy support from Nous Group. A Service Provider Reference Group is being established to ensure insights and knowledge from WAPHA commissioned service providers is considered throughout development of the Framework.
This Service Provider Reference Group is part of a comprehensive engagement plan that includes consultation with a range of stakeholders across the WA primary care sector. A further opportunity for input from commissioned service providers will also be available through an online survey, planned to open following establishment of the Reference Group.
WA Primary Health Alliance invites CEOs and/or Senior Managers from our commissioned service providers to express interest in joining the Service Provider Reference Group for this important project.
Submit your completed Expression of Interest by 9am Tuesday 9 February.
Places on the Reference Group will be offered to ensure membership reflects the diversity of WA Primary Health Alliance commissioned service providers, including consideration of size, scale and nature of contracts and the geographic location of services.
WAPHA achieved Rainbow Tick accreditation in 2019, demonstrating our commitment to ensuring people of diverse sex, sexuality and/or gender have access to safe, inclusive and culturally appropriate primary health care.
As part of our maturing inclusive practice, WAPHA is establishing an LGBTIQ+ Stakeholder Reference Group to inform, guide and support our work.
We are calling for expressions of interest from experts in the field of LGBTIQ+ health service delivery and lived experience to provide insight and input from their field of expertise for consideration in the development and delivery activities and initiatives that improve and strengthen WAPHA’s inclusive practice, and influence the practice of our stakeholders.
To express your interest in being part of this group, please complete the Expression of Interest form by 31 January 2021.
We are specifically looking for people who meet the following criteria:
identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans/transgender, intersex, and/or sexuality, gender, and bodily diverse and/or are a
primary care clinician or allied health professional working with LGBTIQ+ people
WA Primary Health Alliance is committed to providing quality service to our community and stakeholders. As part of our commitment, we have implemented a robust feedback mechanism - find out how to submit your feedback below:
