Thank you for expressing your interest in participating in an engagement activity that WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is organising or involved in. WAPHA facilitates a wide range of activities throughout the year and all Expressions of Interest are managed and submitted online through this hub.

All nominations for WAPHA run groups, events or activities will be advertised via our communications channels and on this page.

Open Expressions of Interest

  • CALD Stakeholder Reference Group

Given our vision of better health, together, WAPHA is committed to commissioning and advocating for safe, inclusive and culturally appropriate practices and services for people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, and all of our staff and stakeholders.

As part of our maturing inclusive practice, and to inform, guide and support the development of WAPHA’s Cultural Competency Framework a CALD Stakeholder Reference Group is being established.

We are calling for expressions of interest from experts in the field of CALD health service delivery and lived experience to provide insight and input from their field of expertise for consideration in the development and delivery of activities that improve and strengthen WAPHA’s inclusive practice, and influence the practice of our stakeholders.

We are specifically looking for people who meet the following criteria:

  • Have lived experience and identify as being from a CALD community
  • Are a primary care clinician or allied health professional working with CALD communities; or
  • hold a position which can represent the interests of a CALD community group/s.

If this sounds like you, please submit your EOI below by Friday 10 December 2021.

For assistance with or queries about the Expression of Interest process, please contact our Stakeholder Engagement Officer, Nicola Blacker.

Across the WA Primary Health Alliance Commissioned Services portfolio, we have taken on board significant feedback and insights gained across our first five years to ensure we continue to evolve and improve. One of the commitments we have made for the year ahead is to set clear performance expectations for our commissioned service providers.

The Commissioned Services Management Framework will be developed with external consultancy support from Nous Group. A Service Provider Reference Group is being established to ensure insights and knowledge from WAPHA commissioned service providers is considered throughout development of the Framework.

This Service Provider Reference Group is part of a comprehensive engagement plan that includes consultation with a range of stakeholders across the WA primary care sector. A further opportunity for input from commissioned service providers will also be available through an online survey, planned to open following establishment of the Reference Group.

WA Primary Health Alliance invites CEOs and/or Senior Managers from our commissioned service providers to express interest in joining the Service Provider Reference Group for this important project.

Submit your completed Expression of Interest by 9am Tuesday 9 February.

Places on the Reference Group will be offered to ensure membership reflects the diversity of WA Primary Health Alliance commissioned service providers, including consideration of size, scale and nature of contracts and the geographic location of services.
