WA Country Health Service (WACHS) in collaboration with WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) are developing a Goldfields Healthy Weight Action Plan.

The Goldfields Healthy Weight Action workshops will provide an opportunity for local stakeholders to identify regional priorities, capacities and actions. The workshop will promote a systems approach to improve existing services and assist in developing regional collaborative actions that link into a statewide framework.

Obesity is a complex community-based issue affecting a wide variety of people, so local initiatives should be guided by local community needs. Linking local actions with a state-wide framework will improve support and sustainability over coming years.

There are two workshops being held in Goldfields:

Kalgoorlie Workshop will be held on Tuesday, 24th November 2020

Esperance Workshop will be held on Thursday 26th November 2020

Both can be attended in person or via VC.
