Compassionate Communities Capacity Builder @ WA Primary Health Alliance

The Compassionate Communities Capacity Builder is responsible for providing a community development approach to build social capital through enhancing community networks and building resistance. It emphasises working with communities rather than for them, to find solutions, building on existing skills and knowledge, and creating meaningful partnerships.

Country WA PHN's aim is to improve health and wellbeing at the end of life. However, we recognise that a public health approach to end of life care goes further still to encourage communities to develop their own approach to death, dying, loss and caring.
