Welcome to the Great Southern Suicide Prevention Advisory Group. The Advisory Group has been established to foster collaboration with local stakeholders to strengthen suicide prevention protocols, establish ways to reduce access to means of suicide and map pathways to care to appropriate services and support in the Great Southern.

This closed group is for members to engage with each other and the Great Southern team outside of meetings, with the aim of facilitating consultation and discussion as well as providing a central location for relevant briefing papers, reports and updates to keep members informed and engaged in suicide prevention and postvention activities within the region.

  • Good morning, Could you please advise what time the vigil for World Suicide Prevention Day will be held this afternoon/evening? I believe it will be held in the Albany Town Square, is this correct? Thank you Kind regards, Karen

    Yes it is in the Town Square, and starts are 6:00pm.  Please bring your own candle.  :)
