What are the hunches that you want to share with others?
In the short video - where do good ideas come from - Steven Johnson suggests that 'hunches need to collide' in order for important new ideas to grow. The past great ages of innovation were aided by 'coffee houses' or 'salons' that enabled conversations and ideas to be shared.
Let's build our own 21st century coffee house online and create a space for the collision of hunches in primary health.
What are the hunches that you want to share for discussion with others?

Mark Slattery about 3 years agoI have a hunch that if we really let people have a say in the health care they will start to look after themselves better. As health professionals we reluctant to say how it really is. Maybe we need to be honest but then make sure we know how to deal with the response. Lets use the data to tell the story,Reply Agree 1 Disagree 0 Alert moderator Share

Iris Barten over 3 years agoAnswering in this type of format is rather stiff and 'un-creative' part of what made the video interesting, visual and real life time conversations I feel are more conducive to the sharing of good ideas. I would suggest that if you follow your adage of opening a virtual coffee house you will need to advertise your 'open hours' and 'happy hours' where certain individuals are happy to share certain ideas in real time.Reply Agree 1 Disagree 0 Alert moderator Share

Admin Commented WAPHADigital over 3 years agoThe amount of data we can now collect about ourselves using mobile devices is fantastic, but it still requires translation from raw data to useful health information to direction for care. Yes we know how much we move, eat, sleep etc, but what does that actually mean?Reply Agree 1 Disagree 0 Alert moderator Share
