PREVENTION OF PRETERM BIRTH SYMPOSIUM

A Prevention of Preterm Birth Symposium is being held in Northam on Wednesday 31st July 2019, 5.30pm at Education Simulation Room (Opposite PATS Office) Northam Hospital.

The symposium will cover what you need to know to prevent preterm birth including;
* When and how to use progesterone
* Update on the progress of the Western Australian and National programs
* Routine cervix length measurement
* use of first trimester screening (FTS), non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) and carrier screening for all couples.

This symposium is available for all healthcare professionals and is being conducted by staff from the Western Australian Preterm Birth Prevention Initiative and the Maternal Fetal Medicine Service at King Edward Memorial Hospital.

RSVP's to Marie.Hill@health.wa.gov.au are required as a light supper is being provided.
